Tour of Britain Wattbike Peak Power Challenge Winners Announced
Wattbike was at every stage finish of the 2009 Tour of Britain. And as Boassen-Hagen and Co. wound up the wattage at the end of each stage, spectators were able to test ther peak power output using state-of-the-art, British Cycling endorsed Wattbikes. Hundreds lined up to take part in this explosive challenge, which tested a rider's ability to generate maximum power through the pedals.
Wattbikes are used by BC coaches and riders in a range of ways. They are especially useful for replicating racing and training and are carefully calibrated to provide accurate power measurement across the whole range of the pedal action.
Winners of the ToB Peak Power Challenge are shown below and each will receive a fantastic British Cycling t-shirt.
