The Rivington 100 Cycle Challenge

A 100 mile route (52 mile route also available) which will include many famous climbs such as the Nick of Pendle as used in the tour of Britain and also some sections of the Commonwealth Games Road Race 2002. The day will have over 10,000ft of climbing so it is not for the faint hearted.

The route will take you through the stunning countryside of Lancashire and Bowland Forest. Entry fee: £14 to register or £16 on the day What a great challenge and a fantastic motive to get fit. You will have to train hard, but the satisfaction of completing the event while raising money for charity is hard to beat.

100 Mile will go on a loop through areas such as: Horwich, White Coppice, Roach Bridge, Little Town, Chipping, Oakenclough, Trough of Bowland, Dunsop Bridge, Slaidburn, Clitheroe, Sabden, Whalley, Little Town, Samlesbury Bottom, Over Cowling and back to Horwich.

Entry fee: £14 to register or £16 on the day

Start times: 8am for 100 mile and 10am for 50 mile
