Local Cycling Heroes: the winners

British Cycling is proud to announce the winners of its Local Cycling Heroes awards.

This summer we’ve been turning the spotlight on the unsung stars of cycling – the people who give up their time and energy to help and inspire others to get the most out of their riding. From almost a hundred nominations we received from the public, we shortlisted 24 dedicated individuals, each playing a pivotal role in their community by inspiring others to get the most out of their bike riding.

Now, after more than twelve thousand public votes were cast, the results have been counted, and the regional heroes can step forward to take a bow...
