Sheffield Grand Prix - 2019 HSBC UK | National Circuit Series Preview

The Sheffield Grand Prix takes place tomorrow evening, with home rider Joey Walker (Madison Genesis) set to ride for the first time since being crowned national circuit champion in Kent last weekend.

Walker was victorious in the 2018 Sheffield Grand Prix, but will face stiff competition on the night from Matt Bostock (Canyon dhb p/b Bloor Homes), who has won all five rounds of the HSBC UK | National Circuit Series so far and wrapped up the overall series victory in Barnsley last week.

Others competing include Isaac Mundy (Richardsons-Trek RT), who finished runner-up behind Walker at the HSBC UK | National Circuit Championships last weekend, Jon Mould (Madison Genesis), Charlie Tanfield (Canyon dhb p/b Bloor Homes) and Gabriel Cullaigh (Team Wiggins Le Col).

The elite race will begin at 20:15, with a number of support races taking place earlier in the evening. Find out more here.
