Wednesday 3 July 2019 will see the men’s HSBC UK | National Circuit Series begin, as the women’s equivalent reaches round 2 with a full evening of racing in Otley.

The Pinsent Masons Women’s Otley Grand Prix gets under way at 7:30pm, while the Property Development Group Men’s Otley Grand Prix is set to start at 8:30pm.

Series leader Sophie Lankford (Team Jadan Weldtite – Vive le Velo) – who won round 1 in Bristol last month – will contest the women’s race, as will reigning national circuit champion Anna Henderson (Brother UK – Tifosi p/b OnForm), who took home the under-23 time trial and road race jerseys from last weekend’s HSBC UK | National Road Championships.

Henderson’s team-mates, road series leader Rebecca Durrell and Alexandra Tour of the Reservoir winner Leah Dixon will also be in contention, while Dame Sarah Storey (Storey Racing), 2018 national road champion Jess Roberts (Team Breeze), while Abby-Mae Parkinson (Drops) and Emily Meakin (The Independent Pedaler), both of whom produced impressive performance at the national championships last weekend, will race.

The men’s field is equally as strong, with HSBC UK | National Road Series leader Matt Holmes part of an impressive Madison Genesis contingent, along with the likes of Ian Bibby, Tom Moses and Jon Mould.

National champion Matt Gibson (Burgos-BH), Olympic track champion Ed Clancy (Vitus Pro Cycling p/b Brother UK) and 2017 national champion Tom Pidcock (Team Wiggins Le Col) also line up, while former track world champion Charlie Tanfield is part of a strong Canyon DHB p/b Bloor Homes team.

Both races will be streamed live on British Cycling’s YouTube channel.

The women’s race will be streamed here (from 7:25pm) and the men’s here (from 8:25pm).
