Scott Beaumont retains his British four cross champion's jersey for a further year

Scott Beaumont retained his national champion's jersey for a further year after an action-packed men's final at the British Cycling National Four Cross Championships in Falmouth.

In the final Beaumont kept his head through to the end and crossed the finish line to retain the senior men's title. Duncan Ferris came in second after crashing out earlier in the race, Nathan Parsons finished with a bronze with Leon Rosser taking fourth.

In the senior women’s final Cara Murray crashed out as Liz Fowler took the win and the national title ahead of Heather Kay, Hannah Escott and Cara Murray.
