Tyde D'Souza and Duncan Ferris take first ever series wins in Cornwall

Youth national champion Tyde D'Souza and Duncan Ferris took their first ever British Cycling MTB Four Cross Series wins at round six in Falmouth, Cornwall.

The men’s small final had been won by Nathan Parsons earlier in the day but the tables were turned later on in the main final when Duncan Ferris took the win ahead of Scott Beaumont, Leon Rosser and Alex Metcalfe.

In the women's small final it was Kelli Salone who took the win to give her fifth for the day. In the main final, Tyde D'Souza, took her first ever British Cycling MTB Four Cross Series win ahead of Liz Fowler, Megan Wherry and Heather Kay.

The final round of the series will be held at Leamington Spa, Warwickshire on Sunday 21 September.
