Round 4 Kirroughtree  Promoted by Scottish XC   Elite Races UCI Class 2

Kirroughtree is one of the 7 Stanes, part of the Galloway Forest Park, situated in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland.  Newton Stewart is the nearest town.  The course uses a combination of established trails and prepared linking sections.  The start/finish arena is located at the foot of the valley adjacent to Race HQ close to team and public car park areas.

Directions

• From the South - M6 to Carlisle, A75 to Newton Stewart signposted to Stranraer.  Turn right at Palnure signposted Kirroughtree Visitor Centre.
• From Glasgow - A77 to Girvan, A714 to Newton Stewart or A77 to Ayr, A713 to New Galloway.  Turn left at Palnure signposted Kirroughtree Visitor Centre.
• From Edinburgh - A702 to Abington services, M74 to Beattock. A701 to Dumfries. A75 to Newton Stewart.  Turn right at Palnure signposted Kirroughtree Visitor Centre.

Camping: camping is available at the venue from the Friday afternoon until 6 pm on the Sunday.  There is a small charge of £5 for the weekend.  There is tap drinking water available next to the Brake Pad bike shop which is adjacent to the arena field.
