Round 1: Saturday 2 - Sunday 3 April 2011

Leamington Go Pro Chest Cam footage by Scott Roberts, Tom Gethin & track designer/builder Nathan Parsons

This weekend sees the Schwalbe British 4X Series get underway at the Campion Hills track, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The 2011 series looks set to be the biggest and best 4X series yet: Schwalbe have signed up as title sponsors for the series and will be present at all rounds in 2011 showcasing their awesome range of 4X tyres that have carried Jared Graves and Tomas Slavik to 4X World Championship titles in the past few years; and rider interest in the Series is at an all time high with lot of new faces expected this year.

It's an action packed weekend: on Saturday the RLS4x guys will be running gate practice on the ex 4x world cup gate and the DMR Pump Track Challenge on Saturday with £400 cash in Pro prize money and lots of great prizes for everyone else.

The track has had a complete makeover during the winter months. RLS4X have worked to bring the venue up to scratch, adding 3 new corners and a pro line on the last straight. The layout of the track and every single jump on it has been changed and it now offers a real challenge to every rider.

Leamington will be a fantastic venue for spectators also as viewing areas will offer perfect views of the whole track.

As always there will  be live commentary, food and drinks on sale and a whole host of team and trade stands where you can buy new parts for your bikes and look at the Pro's bike set ups. It will be a great day out for riders and spectators. In addition there will be trade stands from Schwalbe, Dartmoor Bikes, DMR, Hotlines, The Bike Yard, No Limits, Start Gate Pro and more.
