The British XC Series resumes in earnest with round two at the brand new venue of Wasing. If you want a chance to preview the course before Luke Webber publishes his take, get down to the Southern XC Series opener this weekend.
Course clearing at Wasing a few weeks ago. See the result this week!
For 2010, the Southern XC is set to be the biggest regional Series in the UK with unmatched prize money and unrivalled competition at the highest level, and with the promoters also organising the 2010 British XC Championships, you can be certain of a superbly presented event.
This weekend the opening round of the Southern XC Series at Wasing also represents a unique chance for riders to pre-race the brand new course which will be used for round two of the British XC Series.
We've already been given a tour of Wasing, but won't be giving a verdict until our official preview of the British XC Series. Suffice to say, the course, located near Reading has the usual trademark Southern XC style with a few surprises along the way to spice things up to a national level.
If you want to pre-enter, just go to the Southern XC website where 2009 Southern XC Champion Adrian Lansley is already on the list. As usual we'll have the full event report and video from Southern XC following the race.
