British Cycling runs an application process for those riders that have less than 40 UCI points and are not registered with a UCI Elite MTB Team or UCI MTB Team who wish to be considered to ride for the National Team at any round of the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup series.

Those riders who are part of a UCI Elite MTB Team or UCI MTB Team should arrange entry through their team. Any riders with 40+ points who are not members of these teams will need to contact mtbdownhill@britishcycling.org.uk to arrange entry.

Riders may apply for one or multiple rounds of the Worlds Cup series and are only required to submit one application per season.;
