Entries for the 2017 HSBC UK | National Marathon Championships are open as the event heads to the Isle of Man on 30 July.
With 3250m of climbing over the 100km route, riders will face a technical and challenging course as the race takes place on the island for the time in its history.
Sharon Laws and Ben Thomas are the current women’s and men’s champions respectively.
“Racers should expect a hard going, strenuous day out,” said event organiser Nigel Morris.
“There will be ample competition from a strong local set of riders as well as experienced UK riders.”
The event also covers an open event over the same route as well as the 100-mile Manx Marathon Championship.
