Fowler takes double victory in British Cycling MTB Four Cross Series

Will Evans and Nathan Parsons took advantage of the absence of Scott Beaumont and Lewis Lacey at rounds four and five of the British Cycling MTB Four Cross Series.

Evans won the elite men’s races on Saturday at Much Wenlock in Shropshire with Parsons winning on Sunday.

Beaumont and Lacey chose to miss the rounds to prepare of the 4X ProTour in Czech Republic.

In the elite women’s races, Liz Fowler finshed ahead of Cara Murray on Saturday and completed the double by leading from start to finish. Tyde D'Souza ended in second.

Round six takes place in Falmouth, Cornwall on 10 August.
