The Go-Ride Racing winter offer is here! This year there will be plenty of festive fun, with free resources for your club and chances for young cyclists to join special Santa cycling sessions packed full of coaching and racing.

Following on from the hugely successful Summer of Cycling (which a whopping 8,000 young riders took part in!) we’re asking you to take up the challenge of hosting a winter series of races where young people can ride, race and countdown to Christmas.

For Go-Ride Clubs taking part, we have two exciting offers to make it a truly wonderful winter.

Free resources to unwrap

To help you provide Go-Ride Racing opportunities throughout the winter months, we are offering resource top-ups to those clubs registering a series of races that take place from October through to March.

These resources are in addition to the Go-Ride Racing prize packages available to clubs delivering two, four or six events in this period.

Santa cycling sessions

During December, each region will be hosting a number of Santa cycling coaching and racing events. These will be open to under-16 British Cycling members who have taken part in any Go-Ride Racing event during the year and are a chance for clubs to ride together.

Young cyclists and volunteers are of course encouraged to come dressed for the occasion in their most festive outfits. Why not get out the tinsel and decorate the bike? Or pop some mistletoe on the helmet and get your Santa outfit on for these regional Go-Ride coaching and racing days that will be led by British Cycling Go-Ride Coaches.

Further details about these events will be available in the next few weeks, along with online registration links.
