About Rachel

With cycling running in the family (Rachel’s younger sister is Becky James), Rachel was accepted onto the Great Britain para-cycling squad in 2013.

Riding as a tandem pilot to Sophie Thornhill, the pairing first achieved international success at the 2014 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships.

After just six months training together, the duo set two world records and won two world titles at the event in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
