About Emily

Emily became interested in cycling at the young age of five when she saw a photo of double Olympic mountain champion Paola Pezzo in her dad’s cycling magazine.

Inspired by Paola’s pink cycling kit, Emily started riding her bike and particularly enjoyed racing. So far in her career, Emily has been national champion twelve times and in 2012 she played a supporting role to secure victory for Lucy Garner in the junior road world championships.

In 2013 she became junior world champion in the team pursuit. Emily has recently graduated onto British Cycling’s Olympic Academy Programme and rides for the Welsh trade team, Team USN.
