About Luke

Cardiff-born Luke began cycling at an early age with his local club Maindy Flyers and as a junior he was accepted on to British Cycling’s Olympic Development Programme.

In his European debut in 2007 he won the gold medal in the Team Pursuit, and in 2008 he won the Gold medal in the Madison with Mark Christian, and Silver in the Team Pursuit with Mark, Andy Fenn and Erick Rowsell.

In 2008 was won a silver medal in the European Junior Road Race where he got into the winning break and crossed the line second in the sprint finish. In the autumn of 2008, Luke graduated on to the Great Britain cycling Team Olympic Academy Programme.

In 2012, Luke joined Team Sky as a neo-pro.
