Event Overview

This late season sportive around the National Forest offers three routes which will all be fully signed 68 Km, 100 Km and 160 Km. All three routes offer a challenging ride through the heart of the East Midlands, winding its way through the quiet country lanes located throughout the National Forest. All three routes are centred around the Charnwood Forest, an area of ancient woodland located just outside Loughborough famed for a number of country parks including Bradgate Park and Beacon Hill. The 100 Km route explores the picturesque villages and country lanes around Bosworth Battlefield and Thornton Reservoir. The 160 Km route guides you through the Ticknall and Staunton Harold Reservoir near Calke Abbey, a well preserved National Trust property.

The feedback from our previous sportive around the National Forest in May received excellent feedback and therefore we are promoting this event due to the request from participants. Our event in May SOLD OUT we are expecting a higher demand for this event so please

This late season sportive around the National Forest offers three routes which will all be fully signed 65 Km, 100 Km and 160 Km. WE HAVE NOW CLOSED THE ONLINE ENTRY. WE STILL HAVE SOME SPACES AVAILABLE, YOU CAN ENTER ON THE DAY AT A COST OF £30. WE UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A FINISHERS BAG TO PARTICIPANTS WHO ENTER ON THE DAY. IF YOU INTEND ENTERING ON THE DAY, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM ON THE EVENT WEBSITE, SO WE CAN ENSURE EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A POST RIDE MEAL.
