About the Event

Info for Riders

Following on from May's early season Sharpener sportive, the Haddenham Howler is a challenging sportive with a difference. Both routes loop back past the start point in the beautiful Buckinghamshire Village of Haddenham so that riders can step off if they’ve had enough after the 50 miles route or carry on for the full 80 if they need to ‘stretch out’ a little. Whiteleaf Hill, Pink Hill, Bledlow Ridge, Haw Lane, Walters Ash, Naphill, Hughenden Valley are just some of the highlights of the first 50 – the short route does not equate to the ‘easy’ option! Climbing aside for a minute, both routes lead riders across the stunning countryside of Aylesbury Vale onto the Chiltern Hills and back again via some very quiet back roads and beautiful scenery. Whether you’re riding the 80 or the 50, you are in for a great ride. One that you’ll want to come back to. Registration opens 7:45am - Departing from 8:30am - Last rider away by 9:00am
