Event Overview

ART and Cycling Coach Henry follow up on last years successful stage race day to introduce the first of 3 events in 2025 the ART GIRO SUPER STAGE RACE. A 3 stage race for Open E123, Women's 234 and Open 3/4.

The Open E123 is a Nat B race comprising of a Blast Crit (60mins) , ITT (1 lap) and Super Crit. (120mins)

Women's 234 is Reg A and open 3/4 Reg B comprising of a Blast Crit (40 Minutes) ITT (1 Lap) and Super Crit (90 mins)

Entry is via the General classification race which will automatically enter you into the ITT, Blast Crit and Super Crit

Refreshments will be available throughout the day

Facilities for changing and refreshing are available in the Scout Hut on site.

Chip Timing for all races provided by our friends @eventrexUK chip timing

Top 3 prize money for each individual race will be awarded and there will be an overall prize pot for for the GC

BC points awarded for the Super Crit, ITT, Blast Crit and GC

Primes will be run in the blast crit and Super crit with additional time bonuses on offer. 

Time bonuses will be awarded to the first 10 riders over the line in each stage.

Total prize pot for whole event is over £1000

For the GC any riders who DNF in any stage will receive the time of the Last rider + 5 minutes for that stage, enabling them to continue in the GC competition.

Lapped riders will receive the the time of the last un-lapped rider to cross the line +their average lap time for the race added for the amount of laps they are behind. 

GC is calculated on combined time across all stages, including prime and finish time bonuses.

Info for Riders

Access to the airfield is available from the Barrow Road entrance (Postcode OX13 6JQ). Parking will be available 90 minutes prior to the first race commencing (from 0730) and is adjacent to the HQ. Please note that sign on for races does not open until 0800 . All riders will receive a briefing email approximately 48 hours prior to the event which will outline any specific arrangements.
