About the Event
Info for Riders
Sign on will open from 9:30am, initially for Youth E only.
Gear check is compulsory for all A, B & C riders prior to sign on.
When accessing the circuit, bikes must be walked, not ridden, between the Hub building and football pitches.
Race agenda:
10:00 Youth E 15 mins
10:30 Youth D 20 mins
11:05 Youth C 30 mins
11:50 Youth B 40 mins
12:45 Youth A 45mins
Podiums presentations will take place after each race.
Helmets must be worn at all times while riding, both on and off the circuit.
Gear restrictions as British Cycling Handbook 2024, Road Technical Regulations R2.1.8.1:
"Riders shall be restricted to a maximum gear such that the distance covered per crank revolution is as shown":
Youth E (U8) = No Restriction
Youth D (U10) = No Restriction
Youth C (U12) = 6.34 metres
Youth B (U14) = 6.73 metres
Youth A (U16) = 7.18 metres
It is the riders responsibility to arrive at the race with the correct gear restriction applied to their bike.
** At the end of the race, the Top 3 finishers in each category must report to the commissaire for gear check before leaving the circuit **

Youth B Maximum - 40mm
Youth A - Unrestricted
