Scottish National 50 mile TT: Coffee Pot Trophy

Riders will be started from A92 North of Kinneff on the A92. Riders will proceed north along A92 for 5.26 miles to the A90 south bound. Continue along the A90 past Fourdon and Laurencekirk for 18 miles until the Stracathro flyover where the riders will exit the A90 South bound and return by the A90 north bound. Continue along the A90 for 18 miles taking the first Stonehaven exit and turn onto the A92. Continue on the A92 for a further 5.26 miles where there is the 50-mile finish. 

 

The event will be open to all riders irrespective of eligibility. Individuals who are not eligible for the Scottish National Championship title may race, however these people will not be in contention for the title. They will still receive a race result and ranking points in accordance with BC technical regulations.

 

Entries for the Championships close two weeks prior to the event date, on Sunday 8th June at 23:55. No late entries will be accepted.

 

All Scottish Cycling Championship Titles may be contested by people who meet at least one of the following criteria (as well as holding a minimum of SC/BC Membership and full race licence):

  • SC2.2.1 Persons whose primary club is affiliated to Scottish Cycling (licence showing that club or team at the time entries close).
  • SC2.2.2 Scottish Nationals (persons born in Scotland).
  • SC2.2.3 Scottish Residents (persons who have continuously lived in Scotland for the last three consecutive years prior to the day of the Championship).
  • SC2.2.4 Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland.
  • SC2.2.5 Members of the armed forces who meet none of the above, but who by necessity are required to live in Scotland away from their normal residence.

We accept any of the following documents as proof of eligibility:

  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Driving Licence (must be 3 or more years since issue date)
  • Address History – Council Tax Bill, Phone Bill etc
  • Mess Bill (Armed Forces only)
