THE 2025 SEASON PLAN
Six Weeks of racing starting Wednesday May 21st alternating Rookie and Championship rounds to welcome and encourage newer racers to the infamous Bomber circuit and to find our 2025 King & Queen of the Bomber.

ROOKIE ROUNDS- WEEKS 1, 3 & 5
Kicking the series off and running every other week will see separate races for 3/4 cat men and 3/4 cat women. No Bomber points are available at Rookie rounds but BC points will be issued to the top ten as usual (10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-1 points) unless less than 10 riders entered (3-2-1 points).

THE “POINTS ESCALATOR" CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES – WEEKS 2, 4 & 6
The 2025 King and Queen Championship introduces double Bomber points at the final round #3 bringing a heightened level of competition to the series. Top 10 riders score the following Bomber points at championship rounds:

Championship Rd 1 (28 May)  & Rd 2 (11 June)  10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1  (standard points)
Championship Rd 3 (25 June)  20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 2  (double points)

NOTE: To qualify for the King & Queen series (and Bomber points) riders must enter (and start) in at least two of the three championship rounds. Riders not qualifying for the series are welcome to ride but will not score Bomber points, just British Cycling points.

In the unlikely event that less than ten championship qualifying riders start in a race then Bomber points will be awarded from the number of riders down (for example if 8 riders start in Rd#3 then the winner earns 14 points, 2nd place earns 12 points etc.).

BC Points are issued to the top ten as usual: 10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-1 unless less than 10 riders entered: 3-2-1 points.
