Heckington Grass Track returns in its 157th year.

One of the oldest bike races on the planet returns as Heckington Show's main ring hosts riders on the 300m track in the main arena. With packed viewing areas and a generous prize list, a grand days racing is guaranteed!

The traditional Youth Club Championship will open proceedings, which is open to all riders from all clubs, with the aim of getting more riders into the sport at an accessible point. Teams of 4 riders across all youth age cats, will compete in 5 events to accumulate points, with all teams on the day taking home prizes. Events on the day will be 1 lap Sprint, Points, Team Sprint, Elimination and Scratch. Clubs can enter multiple teams, or we can help make composite teams from the other riders.

The senior events will include rounds for the National Grass League Short Track and Endurance Series, with support from all your favourite events; Handicap, Mile, and Elimination. There will be prizes for all podium positions in all races, with the best combined rides across all events taking home the Victor and Vitrix Ludorum Trophies.
