Grasstrack @ Ambleside Sports 2025

Track , Ambleside – Thursday, 31 Jul 2025

Event Summary

Event Overview

Grasstrack Racing in the beautiful Lake District as part of the historic Ambleside Sports.

Racing will be from midday with a range of races for men, women and youth riders (fixed wheel track bikes only) including scratch races and handicaps and finishing with the traditional  "Devil Takes the Hindmost" race. One entry fee covers all the adult or youth races. The Sports committee produce an excellent track for us each year and it is hard to imagine a more beautiful arena.

Come and enjoy this traditional Lakeland Sports day in a beautiful setting just outside Ambleside. In between races you can watch the other events  including fell running and Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, and of course sample some of the local food and drink. We look forward to welcoming friends old and new to the event.
