Event Overview

Isle of Wight, Brain Tumour Research Ride For Hope 2025

This event is a must for any cyclists calendar. The route takes in multiple beauty spots, dotted around this beautiful island, with three route options

  • The regular full route offering approximately 68 miles and climbing 4000ft.
  • The Ultra - 136 miles & approx 8000ft of climbing
  • New for this year there is the Vectis Centurion! A 100 mile route with approx 5000ft of climbing, taking the full route further afield with stunning new views of the island, ideal for anyone looking for a new Century challenge.

The individual entry fee is the same for all 3 challenges, but there is a new pricing structure to incentivise those keen to fundraise plus the BBQ option at the end. The courses are mostly signed road routes with full GPX files provided. All routes are ideal for experienced riders wanting to ride & fundraise for a charity making a difference. The route will be supported by regularly spaced complimentary feed stations & all cyclists travelling from the mainland will receive a 20% discount on the Wightlink car ferry to Fishbourne

Registration:                                £40 Regular / £45 On the day

Fundraiser Registration:             £20 - with a commitment to raise a minimum £250

As an extra incentive, fundraisers who raise £200 or more, will receive a Brain Tumour Research cycling jersey, free of charge!

Post ride BBQ add on £10 for all entrants (pay on registration)

About the Event

Info for Riders

The Brain Tumour Research Ride For Hope is not a race. This event is a fundraising challenge event, on open roads for all to enjoy. The ride itself will mainly follow a network of clearly defined routes around the coast of the island - we will provide suitable GPS files for all three route options. With breathtaking views around every corner, & challenging climbs on carefully chosen roads, this ride is a fantastic day out in its own right which will leave you with a real sense of achievement - & of course, a medal.
