Weaver Valley Road Races – The Alan Kemp Trophy & The Terry Veal Trophy

Weaver Valley CC is excited to be promoting a day of racing which will see a field of riders competing for The Alan Kemp Trophy in the men’s road race and The Terry Veal Trophy in the women's road race. Both races will be held on the shorter Great Budworth circuit in the heart of Cheshire.

Men's Road Race Alan Kemp Trophy - a Regional B road race which is open to Category 3 & 4 Senior and Junior riders only.

Women's Road Race Terry Veal Trophy - a Regional A road race which is open to Category 2, 3 & 4 Senior and Junior women riders only.

The race will be over 8 laps (men's) and 7 Laps (women's) of the rolling 11km circuit.

Race HQ is at Witton Albion Football Club, off Chapel Street, Wincham, CW9 6DA where ample parking, toilets and refreshments will be available.

Rider manual will be sent out a week or so before the event.

In the event of the race being oversubscribed there will be a reserve list.

About the Event

Info for Riders

There will be a short neutralised section from the HQ before a rolling start. The finish line is slightly off the main circuit and is approximately 3/4 of a mile along Budworth Road from the junction of Budworth Heath Lane.
