Club Cluster Training session for riders aged 9+

These sessions are intended to develop rider's skills and confidence to be able to gain Track Accreditation and begin racing.

Three groups operate, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced and are run by experienced coaches

If this is your first time riding on the velodrome you must enter as a novice. 

Riders are progressed through the groups by the coaching staff present at the sessions.  You should book onto subsequent sessions as advised by the coaches.

Novice riders use flat pedals with toe-straps - please wear comfortable flat soled training shoes.

Hire bikes and shoes are available on the day, hire charges are included in the session price. 

Clothing - you must wear an undervest or two cycling tops and long sleeved top and long leggings are advised.

Helmet and track mitts are compulsory.

Sunglasses are not necessary unless worn to correct vision.

You will need to bring a healthy snack and drink.

If you have training rollers please also bring them along as part of the sessions will involve developing roller riding skills.

 

Parents - you will be asked to watch from the stands, riders and coaches only are allowed in track centre once the session begins.
