Event Overview
Islington Cycling Club - Mens and Womens Road Races
Our 2019 races on Sunday 23 June will again be using the Radwinter course. This is a undulating 25km circuit featuring numerous small climbs and descents. The womens 2/3/4 race is 85km (3.5 laps) starting at 13:00. The mens 2/3/4 race starts at 09:00 and is 85km (3.5 laps).
The men's event is part of the Eastern Road Race League, preference is given to ERRL members.
Selection is by the highest aggregate points from the current and last season by equal representation, based on the best rider from each ERRL club in turn. Organisers can accept entries from clubs outside the League in their reserve list only, unless they do not have a full field of ERRL Members at the closing date.
The event will take place on the Radwinter Course, there will be a maximum of 60 riders on the day.
Entry on the day will be available up to the maximum allowed on the permit.
Entrants are reminded they are not allowed to enter more than one event on the same day unless they are able to start and finish both events. This is a BC and CTT Rule and anyone found to have done this will be reported to the governing body concerned.
There will be no refunds after the closing date.

Event Cancelled due to last minute water works on the course
Entry Updates
- Mens Race: Online entry has closed with a full field and a number of reserves selected.
- Womens Race: As of 8th June, we have 23/60 riders signed up. British Cycling is displaying the race as 'fully booked', which is not the case! We are working with BC to fix this and are hoping to re-open online entries up until Friday 21st. If this is not possible, entries will be accepted on the day, up to a maximum field size of 60.
