Event Overview

The Bushey Bike Ride 2 in 2014 follows on from the successful launch of this event for the Bushey Festival last year. It will start and finish at Bushey Rangers Youth & Football Club, Bournehall Lane, Bushey. There will be two routes. One more challenging ride will be approximately 55km. The shorter route will be about 30km. Both routes will take riders into the picturesque Herts and Bucks countryside. All riders completing the route will receive a certificate. 

Our thanks to last years participants - you raised over £600 pounds for local charities supported by the Bushey festival.

The entry fee is £12:20 which covers the cost of staging the ride, a donation to local charities, rider insurance and the British Cycling website management fee.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Wearing helmets is compulsory. Riders are responsible for making sure their bikes are road worthy. The wearing of high vis vests is recommended. All riders aged under the age of 18 must have a consent form completed by their parent/guardian. available on the British Cycling website. Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Minimum age of riders is 12 years of age. Riders must obey the highway code. The use of triathlon handlebars and other bar extensions are discouraged and if fitted must not be used when riding in a group.
