Veteran Crispin Doyle stole the march on some younger opponents as he went on to win the second round of the Banjo Cycles Winter Floodlit Series.

The 40-year-old Hargroves Cycles rider has now won both of the races in the series and there are now just three remaining.

Doyle was pushed hard for the first 30 minutes with Paul Lloyd glued to his wheel. In the last 10 minutes, Crispin managed to open the gap for the win. Peter Banham took a superb third place with Mike Simpson in fourth. Top woman racer was Emily Wadsworth (Beeline Bicycles RT).
