Andrew Baum (Cwmcarn Paragon) raced to a win in the opener of the Welsh League with a display of total dominance.

Baum put the hammer down from the gun and never let up, getting faster and faster as the race progressed.

The course was dry and fast with a good mix of grassy banks and short sections of technical woodland.

Baum finished nearly a minute ahead of junior Adam King (Cardiff JIF).
