Christmas Eve saw the now traditional Fancy Dress Cyclo-Cross race return to the lovely hilltop village of Heptonstall, near Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.

As well as two races, one for under-12 riders and one for the rest, the event also featured a post-race Prizes giving, Raffle and food gathering in the adjacent bowling club. After a great turn-out and well supported raffle, the organisers Fred and Carole Rothwell were able to announce that £403.50 was raised for The Multiple Sclerosis Society.

With fun the order of the day, prizes were awared to all under-12 competitors and a selection of th best dressed adults. Formal results, as ever, were forgotten in the enjoyment and banter.
