Zepnat's Matt Denby made the trip over from Yorkshire worthwhile with a fine win in the Lady of The Manor Cyclo-Cross. Denby has been in great form this season and after a quiet start he worked his way to the front and, in the end, it was a comfortable win for the Veteran rider. Giles Drake took second from Tom Armstrong, who was the first Junior rider home.
Christian Braybrooke took the Youth race from brother and top under-14 Alex Braybrooke, with Jessica Wilkinson the leading female rider in 9th place.
In the Under-12 category, Sol Kerfoot Robinson was a comfortable winner from Jacob Feetham, with Kim Baptista the leading female rider in 8th. First under-10 home was Anna Armstrong, whilst Matthew Baptista was the first under-8 finisher.
The next round of the series is the Stadt Moers Cross / North West League Round 9 at Stadt Moers Country Park on Sunday 14 November.
