Entries are now open for the 2018-19 HSBC UK | Cyclo-Cross National Trophy and 2019 HSBC UK | National Cyclo-cross Championships.

The series opens in October in Derby, going on to visit Irvine - the first ever round in Scotland - Crawley, York and Ipswich, before concluding in Shrewsbury on the first weekend of the new year.  A week later, the 2019 HSBC UK | National Cyclo-cross Championships are staged at Cyclopark.

There have been a number of enhancements to this season’s series. The elite women’s race will now incorporate both junior and under-23 classifications, with leaders’ jerseys awarded, and the veteran women’s race will incorporate 50-59 and 60+ classifications. The veteran men’s 50+ series is also split into 50-59 and 60+ starts, and leaders’ jerseys will be awarded in these categories for both male and female riders.

All rounds are now run over two days, with veteran races on the Saturday and youth, junior and elite on the Sunday.

There will also be changes to the HSBC UK | National Cyclo-cross Championship format, with the introduction of a separate race for junior women. This is ahead of the introduction by the UCI of a world championships race for junior women in 2020. In the HSBC UK | National Cyclo-cross Championships, under-23 categories will now be integrated into the elite races in both male and female categories, and as with the HSBC UK | Cyclo-cross National Trophy series there will be veteran 60+ jerseys for both genders too.
