Heavy rain and the forecast of more to come led to the cancellation of day three of the Scottish Track Championships at a soggy Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh.
The weather had already brought an early end to racing on day two with the men's and women's inidividual pursuits and senior and youth sprints still to be completed, and an announcement on the position of the championships will be made within the next few days after consultations.
Callum Skinner and Bruce Croall had won through to the final of the senior sprint on Saturday before the rain came with Robbie Spence (Discovery JCC) awaiting the outcome of the second semi-final of the youth sprint between Cameron Balfour (CNP Orbea) and Sean Noon (Edinburgh RC), who were tied at 1-1 in their best-of-three match.
Kayleigh Brogan (City of Edinburgh RC), 4-13.51, and her clubmate, Louise Haston, 4-19.19, were fastest qualifiers in the women's 3,000 metres pursuit.
