Martin Ford of In Gear-Quickvit RT won the sixth round of the South East Road Race League in Gravesend on Saturday.

The 37-year-old Elite rider from Newcastle-Under-Lyme pushed Alex Camier of RM Cycles down into second with Node4-Giordana’s James Moss in third.

In the category three and four event, Robin Kirk of Kingston Wheelers came out on top with Cambridge Cycling Club’s Edward Farnell in second.

“The break formed pretty early with me and James Moss from Node 4, and we worked well and managed to stay away,” said winner Martin Ford. “Camier led the sprint out from about 200 metres to go, but I managed to come round him with less than 50 to go.”
