Road: Whenman wins at Cyclopark

PM Racing Team rider Billy-Joe Whenman took victory in the third round of the South East Road Race League at the Cyclopark in Gravesend, Kent, on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who lives in the town, held off Pedal Heaven’s Tim Elverson for the win, while Jamie Fine (unattached) took third.

There was also a well-supported 3/4 category race, which saw 17-year-old Essex rider Ben Lamb take victory for the Wilier team, while Aprire Bicycles’ Phil Dempsey took second ahead of Twenty 3C rider Steven Skuse.
