Team Launch: Hope Factory Racing

Team Hope Factory Racing has officially launched for 2012 with 19 riders who will focus on national level road, mountain bike and cyclo-cross races.

Following a successful cyclo-cross campaign where Paul Oldham won the National Trophy Series, Hope Factory Racing will expand in 2012 before returning to the roots of the team with an aim of gaining selection for the 2013 cyclo-cross World Championships.

In 2012 a men’s and women’s road team will compete in all Premier Calendar events, women’s national road series and national criterium series, with the cross country mountain bike team also racing the national series and a number of team events including Mountain Mayhem. Tom Braithwaite will be the sole downhill rider and will compete both nationally and internationally.

The team launch itself took place at Hope’s HQ in Barnoldswick, Lancashire where, following photos, the team had an opportunity to meet and discuss the coming season, followed by a tour of the state of the art Hope Factory, were Alan Weatherill explained the process of each section of the manufacture of the Hope product range.
