There is still time to join the 85 four person teams and the 5 solo riders that have signed up for Ride 24, the UK's only 24 hour team relay race for road bikes. The race which takes place on the Top Gear track at Dunsfold, Surrey on 19th and 20th June 2010 has just announced the most amazing prize for the wining team. The winning team have been awarded free entry and the chance to represent the United Kingdom in the 24 Heures Velo race held at the world famous Circuit Bugatti in Le Mans, France on the 21-22 August 2010. With a maximum number of teams this year being restricted to 100, the organisers of the event Action Medical Research, are advising any team still interested in joining this event to go to www.action.org.uk/ride24 or call the charity on 01273 735788 as soon as possible to be sure of getting a place.

You can find out more about the 24 Heures Velo at http://www.24heuresvelo.fr/.

Plans have now been completed for a greatly enlarged competitors' village, extra catering outlets, and the provision of entertainment from the main stage within the site to take account of the large numbers of riders already signed up.

A spokesman for Action Medical Research said 'This promises to be the best Ride 24 ever.'
