Joe Mclaughlin, who contracted the first ever TV rights deal for the sport, said: "This six match series produces some terrific action and will appeal not only to Cycle Speedway enthusiasts but also to Speedway fans, fellow cycle sport followers, extreme sports fans and the wider sports public as a whole. It’s great for Cycle Speedway, now under British Cycling governance, to have this fantastic TV exposure".

The transmissions will also be shown in 32 countries and have a global reach to 152 million homes. The second match of the series is expected to be shown over the Christmas holiday period.
