Nominate an Olympic Torch-Bearer

The call has gone out for nominations from the public for people they believe deserve the honour of carrying the Olympic Flame in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay. Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy has been fronting this campaign and has nominated coach Geoff Cooke as his choice to carry the torch.
Chris says "This is your opportunity to recognise someone who has really made a difference to cycling or the wider community, who inspires others or perhaps has made a personal difference to you.
It could be your a teacher who introduced you to sport at school, a member of your family who inspired you to be the best you can be, a coach for their dedication to supporting cyclists, a neighbour who's always helping others in the community, or many others.
This is a great chance for you to give public recognition to someone who makes a difference, big or small, in the community. With your help, they could have the once-in-a-lifetime experience of carrying the Olympic Flame in 2012."
