British Cycling can today announce the squad that will head to the 2024 UEC BMX Racing European Continental Championships for the final chance to collect all-important qualification points for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The event, which runs from 29 May – 2 June in Verona, Italy will see Emily Hutt compete in the under-23 women’s category after winning her second world championships silver medal in two years in Rock Hill last week. Hutt will be the sole female representative heading to Verona and the 19-year-old will be looking to bring home more silverware to add to her growing collection.

The elite men’s squad will be headed up by Olympic silver-medallist Kye Whyte who will be joined by Ross Cullen and Quillan Isidore as they all hope to solidify qualification spots for Paris after a mixed world championships.

Contesting the under-23 men’s title and aiming to get more competition experience under their belts will be developing riders Matt Gilston and Callum Russell.
