Josie McFall and Scott Beaumont continued their winning streaks as the National 4X Series leaders in rounds three and four at Redhill Extreme.

The track at Redhill Extreme, Forest of Dean, kept riders on their toes with tight berms, arm-draining pumps, the gap jump and a double into the finishing line.

Round 3

A sunny Saturday kept the track dry but grippy for the riders, with a strong crosswind to battle against at parts of the course.

Despite suffering a crash on the start line in motos, Scott Beaumont went on to take a comfortable win in the men’s elite A final, followed by Zac Hudson in second and Duncan Ferris in third. Charlie Currie returned to race his first 4X of the year, taking fourth. The men’s B final saw a close finish with all riders taking the final jump on each other's wheel. Dan Wagstaff, whilst still recovering from a slide-out in the motos, battled hard and rounded off the podium in fifth overall.

Josie McFall took a comfortable win in the women’s elite A final to make it three for three in the series going into the fourth round. Sophie Cade took second while Izzy Wagstaff claimed third.

In the masters field, Dave Richardson looked dominant leading his motos, but it was David Sibley who would ultimately take first place in the A final. Richardson was hot on his heels to take second and Ryan Thomas finished third.

Round 4

As Sunday came around, the wind settled down, but the sun continued to shine, keeping the track grippy and fast.

After a clean sweep in Round 3, Beaumont was kept on the ropes as the men's elite field pushed back, but still took victories in the motos.

The series leader had to work for his win in the elite A final, with riders changing positions on every turn and only two bike lengths separating the top three on the podium.

Beaumont maintained his winning streak to take first place, closely followed by Hudson in second and David Roberts in third.

It was a head-to-head race for the women's elite as McFall and Cade battled it out in the final, with McFall coming out on top and rounding off a double-win weekend.

The main excitement of the day came from the veterans final, with Roy Sutton dominating the motos.

The A final saw David Michael and Sutton battling it out, resulting in a photo finish where Michael was announced victorious and Sutton taking second, while Adam Coles took third. Despite suffering a crash in motos that had the medics busy with the dressing tape and a red flag hold, Chris Walker showed his resilience and determination to race and rounded off the podium in fourth.

In the rippers category, Coby Wrayford took the win, continuing as series leader with a clean sweep of wins across the series so far.
