From the team pursuit squad dominating every time they set foot on a track, the emergence of Becky James as a genuine contender to fill Victoria Pendelton’s shoes and Rachel Atherton’s complete dominance of the downhill mountain bike scene, the success has been astonishing.

And with our strategy to get one million more women cycling by 2020, it’s clear that these performances are inspiring the next generation of bike riders to follow in some illustrious footsteps.
