The Merlin Ride

The Merlin Ride is a sportive ride with three distances, Druid 50 miles, Merlin One 70 miles and Merlin Two 112 miles.
All entrants start and finish at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and travel together for the first 38 miles crossing over the Black Mountain and fast technical descent to the first feed station. Druid riders return via Bethlehem and Ffairfach. Merlin 1 & 2 riders continue onto A 40 and over to the Cothi Valley to second feed station at Llansawel (52 miles) to Nantgaredig and Finish at Gardens. Merlin Two riders travel onto Carmarthen, follow the Carmarthen Bay Coast road to Llanelli (feedstation), leave via Pembrey Mountain to Trimsaron, Gwendraeth Valley and return via Ffairfach and Nantgaredig.
All entrants will receive a goodie bag. Venue will provide easy access off M4 & A48 with acres of free car parking and full cafe/restaurant facilities. This is a superb venue where the whole family can enjoy the day. The National Botanic Gardens will hoast trade shows by Trek, Raleigh and Wilier with equipment by Jim Walker (Campagnola and Northwave and County Cycles)
