Prostate Cancer Tour of Britain Rides

Event: 6th September 2009

Don't Just Watch It. Ride It

This year, The Tour of Britain and The Prostate Cancer Charity have joined forces to offer cyclists like you, the opportunity to ride an entire stage of The Tour of Britain.

For the first time ever, cyclists who are up for the challenge can follow in the tracks of the professionals and ride the official 145km Stoke-on-Trent stage of The Tour of Britain in The Prostate Cancer Charity Tour Ride on Sunday 6th September 2009.

The Prostate Cancer Charity Tour Ride allows riders to take on a full road stage of The Tour of Britain, beginning and ending outside the Britannia Stadium. Cyclists will tackle some of the toughest climbs of The Tour, whilst taking in some of the finest scenery the Peak District has to offer - all in support of a great cause.

The Pro Tour ride will recreate the actual Tour of Britain from start to finish and with two shorter distance rides also available (Challenge 70km and Family 20km), it's a chance for cyclists of all ages and abilities to enjoy a great day out
