After an amazing summer of being the only British finisher in the Tour de France and an unforgettable gold medal at the Commonwealth Games Geraint Thomas has one final ride in the diary for 2014 – Sunday 19 October.

Returning to home soil Geraint is the ambassador for the Castles and Cathedrals sportive organised to benefit Shelter Cymru.

The 92-mile ride offers a mixture of cycling through the industrial heritage of south Wales combined with sections of the wild beauty of the Brecon Beacons.
