Sunday September 7 sees the return of The Bourne Ultimatum Sportive organised by Bourne Wheelers Cycling Club.

This popular annual no-frills sportive promises great routes, fabulous cakes and a warm Lincolnshire welcome and all for the bargain price of just £12.

There are three routes to choose from; 52, 61 or 72 miles. Each is has its challenges (hills), but nothing too difficult making this the perfect ride to wind down after a busy summer of riding. Route maps and profiles can all be downloaded from the club website.

The sportive will start and finish at Edenham Village Hall (PE10 0LS), about three miles outside Bourne, where you find car parking, toilets and a warm brew before you head off. Registration will open at 7.30am on the day of the ride.
