The Sussex Highs and Lows Sportive is back on Sunday August 31.

This year’s event consists of choices of 20, 45, 56 or 68 miles that all start and finish at St Bede’s school in Upper Dicker, East Sussex.

There will be free parking and toilets available to all entrants on the day as well as a rolling start time of 9-10.30am. As well as providing you with a truly great day of riding our official event partner Mr Cycles and Giant Shoreham is providing the following exclusive offers to anyone who is signed up.

They will be offering a 10% discount on all clothing and accessories as well as a 50% reduction on servicing (excludes parts) at either of their two shops in Seaford and Shoreham. To redeem these two offers you just need to give your name so they can check it off against the sportive entry list.

They will also be donating a £75 voucher to be spent at Giant Shoreham for the top fundraiser.

Free training rides for Sussex Highs and Lows Sportive cyclists

Mr Cycles will also be running training from their Giant Shoreham store. These training rides will be ideal for anyone looking to improve their fitness and ride in a group on the road in preparation for the Highs and Lows Sportive.

On the day Mr Cycles and Giant Shoreham will be providing mechanical support at the start and also at Mr Cycles shop in Seaford (free labour for tune-ups and emergency repairs).

This year’s event is being put on primarily to support The Martlets Hospice. This superb Sussex based charity provides end of life care for adults with a life limiting disease such as Motor Neurone Disease and Cancer where a cure is no longer possible.

This care aims to relieve the symptoms associated with serious illness and includes emotional support for families and carers of patients through the illness and into bereavement. They help 500 patients each year and help around 1,000 local families. All monies received through entry fees and sponsorship from Martlets supporters will go towards providing expert care for our patients. If you raise £150 or more for the Martlets Hospice, you will automatically be entered into the Champagne Prize Draw.
